To Date, Meridian Senior Living – Assisted Living

  • What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?

It is hard to identify a single thing that is my favorite.  I think if I were to have to narrow it to one single thing it is finding solutions to difficult Architectural problems.  It gives me the ability to be creative at very small details and helping others to see that there is often more than one way to solve a problem.

  • How do you define success?

The definition of success has several facets, I think the most important are: Satisfaction with what I do; ability to balance work and family; and confidence that my work has had positive impact on my co-workers and the environment.

  • If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?

There are a lot of historical events I wish I could have witnessed… the end of the Civil War would have been near the top, but I think the Gettysburg address would have to be at the top.  In case you didn’t notice I do like American History especially the events leading to the civil war, the civil war and reconstruction following.  It was such a dynamic and interesting part of American history.  Unfortunately I don’t get as much time as I would like to study it, but anytime I get a chance to see a Civil War historic site I don’t miss it.
