CASCO was contracted by OTO development to provide architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for three Residence Inn hotels in Florida & Alabama. Each location was 5 stories in height and approximately 84,000 square feet. In addition to providing a building design in accordance with the brand’s requirements, CASCO designed the outdoor pool and surrounding spaces of the hotels.
The four-story timber destination resorts include up to 400 guest suites and offer a choice of ten different suite configurations. Each resort offers a wide range of amenities including five themed restaurants, an arcade, spa, fitness room, and meeting and banquet spaces. Each lodge features a 3-story grand lobby, complete with a fieldstone fireplace. At the center of the resort, just behind the lobby entrance, windows overlook the main attraction, a 90’ tall indoor water park complex measuring over 100,000 square feet.
Described as “An Elegant Affair on a Great Lake,” Blue Harbor Resort is a classic lake-side resort. The property offers 182 family-sized suites and 64 villas. Dining options include a fine dining restaurant, tapas bar, cafés, and a Starbucks. Guests seeking serenity and pampering enjoy Reflections, a full-service salon and spa. Children and adults alike enjoy the fun-filled four-story, 43,000 square foot indoor water park, and children’s arcade.
Extended Stay America and Studio Plus properties are typically 3- to 5-story suite hotels consisting of 110 to 150 units each. A key component of our services to Extended Stay America’s real estate department was the preparation of initial site layouts for over 100 properties throughout the United States. Other services include the development and maintenance of prototypes for both the Extended Stay America and Studio Plus brands.
Hampton by Hilton, formerly known as Hampton Inn, is a brand of hotels trademarked by Hilton Worldwide. The Hampton hotel brand is a chain of moderately priced, upper midscale hotels with limited food and beverage facilities. CD Companies was contracted by OTO Development to provided architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for several Hampton Inn & Suites.
We offer extensive experience in the design and engineering of time share properties. Facilities range from single story to four stories high and house 6 to 16 units each. In addition to the timeshare units, CASCO provides architectural and engineering services for the resorts’ core support and entertainment areas, including a water park, member services, sales, and registration. To date, CASCO has designed over 250 timeshare units in 13 resorts located in FL, GA, IL, MA, MO, PA, TX, and WI.
Interior Remodel of hotel guest rooms, guest bath, room corridors, and public restrooms. Including but not limited to removal of finishes, replacing light fixtures, and new finishes. This project was a renovation of the hotel’s guest rooms and bathrooms, the corridors, and public restrooms. Some of the selections included new wall, floor, and ceiling finishes, lighting fixtures, artwork, and plumbing fixtures.
This project was a renovation of all 200 existing guest rooms and suites at the Four Seasons Saint Louis. The main source of inspiration for the room’s redesign was the City of Saint Louis itself. We wanted to embrace the city’s celebrated monuments, including the Gateway Arch, Mississippi Riverfront, historic Ead’s Bridge, and Laclede Landing. Location is one of the biggest factors in this hotel. No other hotel in Saint Louis has the views that the Four Seasons has.
The dramatic interior provides guests with the ultimate private and luxurious escape. We redesigned this existing office space to create another revenue source and amenity for the property. Each space maximizes the ability for food and beverage service. We continued our design language throughout, providing a visual dialogue with the entire 8th-floor space. Seating is maximized for viewing the Top Golf game as well as other televised events.
We constructed a new check-in station with 3 pods, borrowing design cues from Cinder House upstairs. We also enhanced the alcove with additional accent lighting, including a location for a seasonal botanical installation. To improve the guest experience, we proposed moving the concierge desk to the center of the lobby. A new decorative chandelier feature was installed over the concierge station.
The 8th floor Sky Lounge is a multi-purpose space in which we enhanced with design and functionality, activating a non-guest area, along with maintaining the ability to use as one large space. Cinder House’s (the hotel restaurant, which was renovated in 2018, located in the southwest corner of the Sky Lounge) design narrative was our source of inspiration for the renovation of the Sky Lounge. The design language within the entire 8th Floor Sky Lounge now flows seamlessly throughout.
This is a complete renovation of the interior of the existing country club, including ballrooms, dining rooms, club and locker rooms, as well as the pool restrooms. The floor plan has been reorganized and opened up to be more efficient, and updated finishes have been selected to bring both the interior and exterior of the space into the modern age.
