Newly licensed Architect, Aaron Becker!

AARON BECKER

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate our Project Manager, Aaron Becker, on passing his final Architect Registration Examination (ARE)! He is now a licensed Architect!

Becoming a licensed architect is no easy task. It requires numerous development program hours and passing 6 registration examinations, taken after receiving your master’s degree in architecture.  While it’s a challenging and time-consuming process, Aaron stayed the course and is now a registered architect in the state of Missouri!

Aaron graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Architectural Technology from Ranken Technical College in May 2012; and received his Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2013.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Aaron joined our firm in October of 2015, and was quickly introduced to a variety of projects, across the entire nation, allowing him to continue his growth as an architect. He now serves as a Project Manager within our CASCO division working on early childhood education facilities, warehouse/distribution centers, commercial/retail centers, and multifamily housing projects. When asked what his favorite project was, he said, “There’s too many to pick from. I truly enjoy each one of them as they all present their own unique programmatic needs and challenges along the way. It’s a huge personal achievement for me to be licensed. I’ve known since I was in elementary school that I wanted to be an Architect and now I can officially call myself one. Professionally, being licensed will give me the opportunity to continue to grow within CD Companies and help mentor others who are passionate about this profession looking to further their careers.”

Outside of work, Aaron spends much of is his time appreciating the outdoors in a variety of different ways. He goes hunting, boating, and golfing while spending time with his friends and family. On occasion, he also likes to sneak in a country concert or two!

Again, it is with great pleasure to congratulate Aaron on this accomplishment. We are proud to have him as a key member of our team and look forward to his continued success!
