The long-awaited Cinder House in the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis debuts to the public August 29, 2018. The CASCO + R|5 team partnered with Chef Gerard Craft and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Together, they developed the space and set the stage for a sophisticated dining experience.

The Four Seasons website details the dining at Cinder House as, “James Beard Award-Winning Chef Gerard Craft is blending the tradition of wood-fired meat, vegetables and fish with bold international flavors. With an eye on the entire world, but a heavy hand toward South America, a meal at Cinder House is always flickering with surprises.”

Cinder House is located on the 8th floor of Four Seasons Hotel. It boasts spectacular views of the Gateway Arch and the downtown skyline.

CASCO + R|5’s Director of Design S. Aleksandr Malinich describes Cinder House as having, “Dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows allow guests to gaze at the city’s celebrated monuments including the Gateway Arch, Mississippi River, Ead’s Bridge and Laclede’s Landing. While interiors crafted in rich woods and smooth leather provide a comfortable level of sophistication that honor Craft’s focus on simple foods with bold flavors”.

“As a nod to the breathtaking hues of Perito Moreno Glacier, we incorporated rich, turquoise leather upholstered sofas, complemented by chairs in an earthen colored plaid fabric and taupe leather. The lounge’s dominant feature includes opulent blue Amazonite countertops, which echo the Marble Caves in Patagonia,” says Malinich.
