CASCO + R|5 is honored to announce that our most recent project completed by our in-house design team, Cinder House at The Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, was included in Architectural Digest Magazine’s “Most Beautifully Designed Bar in Each State in America” for 2018!
Designed to complement the expansive views of St. Louis, Cinder House’s rooftop dining at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel is a world class setting for James Beard winner, Chef Gerard Craft’s gastronomic vision for traditional wood-fired grilled cuisine.
The oak and brass Entry Portal reveals a custom stone and wood host desk. Immediately inside the restaurant is a handcrafted walnut credenza. The bespoke finish technique refers to the Chef’s commitment to culinary excellence referring to charred wood from the grill.
Drawing inspiration from the mountainous regions of South America, the interior is adorned with a variety of colors and textures throughout. A dominant feature of the restaurant is the Amazonite countertops, which echo the marble caves in Patagonia. There is a well edited assemblage of bespoke furnishings, accented by luxurious fabrics and leathers. Inspired by breathtaking hues of Perito Moreno Glacier, turquoise leather upholstered sofas were chosen, then complemented by earthen colored fabrics and taupe leather furnishings. The Dining Alcove affords guests an intimate dining venue, while providing breathtaking views of the Gateway Arch.
We would like to thank Architectural Digest for their consideration and The Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis ownership, as well as, Chef Gerard Craft for providing us the opportunity to design Cinder House.
