CASCO would like to extend congratulations to Ryan Bickings on his transition to CASCO’s Project Management Department.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Missouri – Columbia in May 2020. While attending college, he also interned with CASCO during the summer and winter breaks of 2018 and 2019. Upon graduation, Ryan joined CASCO as a full-time Architectural Designer and played a key role in many of our retail projects, including Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. During his time in the architectural department, Ryan gained experience managing rollout production, doing one-off developer work, and working directly with general contractors on design-build projects. He notes that his favorite project thus far was a design-build project in New York City where the ground floor of a vacant space was transformed into a social wellness club. “I specifically enjoyed working on this project as it was interesting to see how we incorporated all disciplines into a space that is heavily focused on design. We also worked closely with the General Contractor and provided specialized details as needed.”
When asked what Ryan is looking forward to in his new position and what he hopes this means for him professionally, he says, “I mostly look forward to building client relationships through effective communication and having a solid understanding of client goals. I hope that professionally this new position will provide opportunities to develop skills that will help me progress to more leadership roles within the company.” He also notes, “I am focused on maintaining open lines of communication to ensure my team is well-informed and efficient, with the goal of producing a better product for our clients.”
In his free time, Ryan enjoys being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and watching football on Sundays. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing other parts of the country when he gets a chance. As an avid golfer, he usually tries to plan at least one round of golf while he’s on vacation.
Congratulations Ryan! We’re glad to have you on board our Project Management team and know you will have continued success.
